Planning.

Local planning guidelines vary between London Boroughs and can take approximately 6-8 weeks. During planning you are required to serve a party wall notice to your neighbour.

Projects which may not require planning permission are ones under:

Terraced 40 cubic meters.
Semi-Detached 50 cubic meters.
Detached 50 cubic meters.

Durations:

Loft conversions: 4 to 7 weeks
Basement conversions: 2 to 4 months
Extensions: 6 to 10 weeks
Drawings: 2 weeks
Planning: 8 weeks

Stage payments are required on all works until completion.
